tonight’s tattoo practice. another bird. i used a stencil from some flash art i got from the tattoo supply company i get my gear from.
i’ve come to the realization that i absolutely HATE working on practice skin. maybe it’s just the brand i’m using but it SUUUUCCCCCCKKKSS ass to tattoo on, lemme tell ye. it feels like the needle goes in way too easily and cleaning the area is nearly impossible, as the fake skin too easily stains. by the time you’re done with your piece, you end up with the blotchy mess you can see in the pic.
i screwed up the bird’s feet so ignore that part. i think my lining is getting much stronger. shading is getting a little better but i’m still having a tough time using shader needles. i end up just filling in with a 5 liner needle.
i’ll get this shit.
